Château de Viviers

Wine

2 Rue des Fourches
Château
89700 VIVIERS

The Castle of Viviers is based in Chablis.
In pursuit of excellence for 800 years, this Burgundian estate was founded in the 1399th century by Cistercian monks. As its reputation grew, it was purchased in XNUMX by the royal cupbearer Jean Budé.
This is how the wine of Château de Viviers was served in particular at the wedding of Louis XIV. The current Château was built in 1628 by a musketeer who was very close to the Queen.
The estate, after a 75-year hiatus due to Phylloxera and the First World War, was reborn in 14. The story continued in 18 with Arnould and Isabelle Lefébure, Franco-Belgians, who took over the Château and ran it entirely organically and biodynamically, with three pillars: Quest for Excellence, Biodiversity and History.
A land of hospitality and French culinary art with its guest rooms, Viviers wants to work with you to bring its exceptional terroirs back to life, protect its beautiful landscapes and share its wines for greater happiness
